Discovery climbing is made for all people motivated to try climbing for the first time!
Rock climbing is everywhere these days. From the Dawn Wall to your Instagram feed to the new gym going up in town – climbing is no longer the fringe sport it once was. Kids are starting to climb almost before they can walk, and now more than ever, there’s no reason for you not to give it a try as well. However, climbing can be one of those intimidating hobbies to begin with. You may wonder “How do I get started?”, feeling overwhelmed with gear and safety as huge barriers to entry. We get it, and so this offer is everything you need to get out on the rock.

The rocks of Geyikbayiri are perfect for climbing for beginners as well as advanced and professional climbers. Over 1500 different climbing routes await you here and in a quality not often found elsewhere. At Sunclimbing Discovery Climbing we introduce you to this great area and give you a first insight into sport climbing.

The Discovery Climbing is designed for all those who want to try climbing for the first time. If you prefer a full-featured climbing course, then check out our other climbing courses.

You’ll get lots of time climbing, and our instructors will coach you on technique and help you have a successful and fun day on the rock!

What’s included

Sunclimbing provides all the necessary climbing materials such as harnesses, ropes, express slings, belay devices and helmets. Climbing shoes can be rented on site if needed.

Of course we will share as much climbing knowledge with as you want. No question should remain unanswered and we will help you as much as we can.

We will take great climbing pictures of you and the group during the climbing day. At the end of the day these can be taken away as a souvenir.

What’s not included

Climbing shoes can be rented at Sunclimbing if needed.

Travel to Geyikbayiri and to Sunclimbing must be organized by yourself.

For the 6 hours Discovery Climbing Day we can also offer a packed lunch at a price of 8,00 €. Please let us know when booking the course.
