Multi-pitch Climbing Course (Sport)

Multi-pitch rock climbing is perhaps the most exhilarating experience available to climbers. There is something special about the exposure one feels while hanging from the side of a cliff 60 meters above the ground and feeling totally comfortable.

Our Introduction to Multi-Pitch Climbing Course will take you on a guided tour of the highest points of the crag. You will learn how to properly belay climber from the top and the basics of building anchors and rappelling from a multi-pitch route. You will learn some simple rope management techniques that will help you save time to maximize your day.

Requirements

Experience in outdoor lead climbing
Interest in wanting to make sure they can keep themselves and their climbing partners safe when going on multi-pitch climbing adventures

What to bring

Personal climbing equipment (can also be rented if needed)
Sun protection
Water, food and snacks

Schedule

DAY 1 (6 hours)

Maximum ratio is 1:2
Anchor selection & building belays
Lead climbing
Equipment selection
Abseils and retreats
Climbing calls and communications for multi-pitch climbing
Double rope techniques

DAY 2 (needs to be booked separately)

climbing multi-pitch routes (2 pitches) 🙂

All prices are per person and in Euro.

What’s included

6 hours of multi-pitch climbing class with a professional, local climbing guide who will adapt the climbing day according to your needs and wishes.

Multi-pitch material for this class is provided.

Of course we will share as much climbing knowledge with as you want. No question should remain unanswered and we will help you as much as we can.

We will take great climbing pictures of you and the group during the climbing day. At the end of the day these can be taken away as a souvenir.

What’s not included

Personal climbing equipment is not included (Climbing shoes and other climbing equipment can be rented at Sunclimbing if needed).

Travel to Geyikbayiri (Antalya, Turkey) and to Sunclimbing must be organized by yourself. If you need help with the transfer let us know, we can help.

We can also offer a packed lunch at a price of 8,00 €. Please let us know when booking the course.
