I started mountaineering in 1995 and sport climbing in 2000, when I came to Geyikbayiri with Öztürk, as we “discovered” the area.

After completing my training as a UIAA mountain guide trainer at the Turkish Mountaineering Federation, I opened my „Olympos Activities Center“ in Kadir’s Tree Houses in Olympos in 2005, which I have since sold.

In the summertime, I was Dive Master (PADI) and Climbing Guide. In wintertime, I spend some free time in Geyikbayırı, where I now live. Climbing is meditation for me. When I climb I stop thinking, become one with nature, and am entirely in the moment.

I have been teaching and guiding adults and children with my team for a long time. I discovered the Geyikbayiri climbing area and worked in Olympos.

For many years I was a Scuba diving and ski-touring instructor, but my biggest interest has always been climbing. I am a climbing & mountaineering guide and coach in Turkey since 1999. Since 2023 year I am also a certified Austrian Alpin Club climbing instructor too. So let’s climb together!
